The solo castle defense card battler

It is a solo banger. Captures the MtG and Hearthstone feeling without having to take out a second mortgage.

My favorite solo board game so far. Playing it feels almost like playing a video game [...] the AI runs very smoothly, allowing you to focus entirely on planning your strategy and adapting to the battlefield.

They have absolutely crushed the solo/cooperative play experience [...] Gameplay is so fun, daresay addictive, you'll find yourself not being able to put this game down and coming back for another round.

Having previously played Magic, Hearthstone [...] this fills that tense one-on-one dueler almost perfectly (without a potentially toxic opponent sitting across from you!)

Very easy to get to the table, like 1 min easy [...] Accessibility ratio to the weight and depth of experience this game provides is second to none.

One of the most underrated games out there. While this box is already strong on its own, it truly shines when combined with previous boxes, adding a huge amount of depth through the deck-building component and offering tremendous replayability.

I'm sure I'll be playing this for years to come. This is already getting close to being my top solo board game [...] didn't expect to like it this much.

I like that the game puts pressure on you to end the game before you lose. There is a ticking clock of your deck running out [...] having that constraint really forces you to make decisions and even be risky at times.

I used to play A LOT of MtG back in the day and this really does have strong MtG vibes, basically letting me play MtG solo [...] It really scratches the itch for anyone like me who enjoys deck construction and some brain burning puzzle.

Excellent for relaxing in the evening after putting the children to bed. But also excellent at playing two-player in co-op with my son [...] No game of Skytear will be the same as the last!

Quick set up, play and tear down, all within 30 min. Lots of meaty choices and tactical decisions. Either play with a prebuilt deck, or sink your teeth into some deckbuilding.

I'm enjoying the tactical card play and figuring out the strategies. Cool solo experience with minimal setup. For me it has that 'just one more try' aspect.
